Islam and Iman --> Iman as the inward deeds, while Islam is the outward actions..

Islam
"Islam" means believing in Allah (The God) to the extent of surrendering your will to Him....

Five Pillars of Islam( five obligatory acts of worship)
1)Declaration of Faith
(to be a Muslim--> a person has to proclaim (or testify) that there is no other god but Allah (praise to Him) and that Muhammed (pbbuh) is His Messenger.)
2)perform the five prayers
3)pay the Zakat
4)fast during the month of Ramadhan
5) make the pilgrimage in Makkah(if he/she is able to do so

Iman
"Iman" is both verbal and actions. Meaning, the heart and tongue confess with Iman while the heart and other sense do actions.

The Pillars of Iman (Faith)
1)belief in Allah
2)Belief in His Angels
3)Belief in His Messengers
4)Belief in His Books
5)Belief in the Last Day
6)Belief in Al-Qadar (Pre-Ordainment)

Ihsan
"Ihsan" is the highest of the three levels of faith and the closest to God. It is to worship Allah as if you are seeing Him. While you do not see Him, He truly sees you...
